Daniel Victor (born September 20 1979) is a Canadian producer and recording artist born in Windsor, Ontario, best recognized for his collaborative project of music, Neverending White Lights, which is a musical project that features the most instrumentalists, namely Victor and guest vocalists singing the majority of the songs.
At the end of 2008 Victor was off for a while and chose to not perform the album but instead spend time with his family and friends. He also produced as well as recorded the album in an off-beat project called Black Ribbons, a 12-song electro-pop album recorded within a couple of months, each song being composed by a bass guitar.
On September 21, 2010, Victor leaked a song from the album, entitled “The Lonely War”, featuring Evan Konrad of the band Bed of Stars. Victor took around an entire year to compose and record his second album called Act 2: The Blood and the Life Eternal, recorded in his basement studio between 2006 and 2007 and released on the 30th in 2007. The album was a collaboration with groups like Aqualung, The Raveonettes, Mobile, Catherine Wheel, Auf der Maur, Hawksley Workman, Magneta Lane, Mellowdrone and Ours. The first single from Act II, “Always” was the first one to feature the lead vocals of Victor himself. It was ranked at #118 in the Canadian Rock Chart. The song is followed up by the follow-up single “The World is Darker” which featured Melissa Auf der Maur, and the driving rock track “Where We Are” featuring Rob Dickinson of the UK group, Catherine Wheel.
