Waachiim Spiritwolf is one of the most popular and richest Mixed Martial Artist who was born on February 6, 1976 in Pala Indian Reservation, United States. Spiritwolf was introduced with Bellator in March of 2011. He fought Jaime Jara at Bellator 35 and took the bout by a split decision. Even though the fight was held in the preliminary portion that was not aired of the card Bellator Chief Executive Officer Bjorn Rebney claimed that fans’ enthusiasm to see the fight was enough to convince the company to show it on the next weeks’ Bellator 36 airing on MTV2.
Spiritwolf returned to the promotion on March 21, 2013 to face former UFC veteran Marcus Davis at Bellator 93. Unfortunately, the bout ended in a no contest when Davis hit Spiritwolf with a knee to the groin, in the first round and he could not continue.
He faced independent prospect Max Griffin at TWC 19 on January 15, 2014. He lost the fight via split decision. Spiritwolf was expected to face Angel Deanda at Tachi Palace Fights 20 on August 7, 2014. However, the bout would be cancelled for unknown reasons.
After competing in local events as well as King of the Cage, Spiritwolf was selected for the main card at the Ultimate Chaos pay-per-view. Prior to the fight, Spiritwolf accused his heavily-favored opponent Brett Cooper of looking ahead to his fight on August 1 at Affliction Trilogy to the advantage of their match. Spiritwolf managed to cause the victory and knocked off Cooper in the opening round.
